With a playoff win on the line, Willamette rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Southridge Skyhawks with a sharp 66-42 win. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Willamette has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.9 points over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Southridge and nudges their season record down to 20-9.

Coming up, Willamette will take on Tualatin on Friday. Tualatin will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Willamette surely won't give up without a fight. Southridge has already played their next game (against South Medford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
