Basketball Recap: Rawlins Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Lincoln Searle and Chris Gonzalez

Rawlins's last matchup with Buffalo could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Rawlins Outlaws came up short against the Buffalo Bison, falling 66-44. The Outlaws have struggled against the Bison recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meetings.

Rawlins' loss came despite strong showings from Chris Gonzalez and Lincoln Searle. Gonzalez posted 14 points, while Searle put up 12 points.

Brady Engling continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Buffalo, dropping a double-double with 19 points and ten boards. Engling is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Cortlan Smith was another key player, going 5-for-9 to rack up 13 points.

Rawlins' loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Buffalo, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.

Rawlins wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 57-47 win against Burns on the 7th. As for Buffalo, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 60-59 victory against Douglas on the 8th.
