It was a good run, but Midland Legacy unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Wylie Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Tuesday.

Midland Legacy's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Wylie, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Midland Legacy and Wylie should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Rebels (ranked 320th) will meet Lubbock (ranked 677th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Wylie will square off against Weatherford at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (18 vs. 199).
