 Hilliard Bradley was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They fell  11-6 to the Olentangy Orange Pioneers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Hilliard Bradley of the  6-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  last Monday.
 Hilliard Bradley got a good showing from  Sam Wendel, who   tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off   two  hits.
 On the hitting side, Hilliard Bradley saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Andrew Miller, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brain Nashalsky, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Hilliard Bradley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Olentangy Orange, the  victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 12-1.
 Hilliard Bradley will be playing in front of their home fans against Dublin Coffman at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Dublin Coffman's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3  runs per game  this season, so Hilliard Bradley's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Olentangy Orange, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Olentangy Liberty at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Olentangy Orange is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
