Football Recap: Prairie View Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Prairie View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. The contest between the Thunderhawks and the Brighton Bulldogs didn't end well, with the Thunderhawks falling 35-21. If the Thunderhawks were looking for revenge after losing 35-7 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

When it comes to explaining why Prairie View lost, don't look at Zavian Martinez. Despite the final result, he threw for 219 yards and one touchdown on only 16 passes, and also punched in one score on the ground.

Prairie View's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Brighton, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.
