Soccer Recap: Fort Meade Wins Going Away Against Frostproof

With a playoff win on the line, Fort Meade rose to the challenge on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Frostproof Bulldogs as they made off with a 7-0 win. The matchup marked the Miners' most dominant victory of the season.

They hit Frostproof with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Avalyn Hernandez (4), Elizabeth Perez (2), and Daniela Garcia.

Fort Meade has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four contests. As for Frostproof, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

Fort Meade will challenge Lakeland Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Frostproof does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
