            Basketball Recap: Holy Cross Lutheran Academy Crusaders vs. Crooms Academy Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            Crooms Academy typically has all the answers at home, but  on Tuesday Holy Cross Lutheran Academy proved too difficult a challenge. They escaped with a win against the Crooms Academy Panthers by the margin of a single free throw,  58-57. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Crusaders as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
 Despite the loss, Crooms Academy still got an impressive performance from   Kenai Anderson, who  dropped  a double-double on 20  points and 14  boards. Anderson's evening made it five games in a row in which  he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Julian Gill, who  went 9 of 22  on his way to 20 points and seven  rebounds.
Holy Cross Lutheran Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Crooms Academy,  with the  loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-8.
 Holy Cross Lutheran Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  72-50  defeat against Orangewood Christian on the 30th. Crooms Academy has also  already played their next contest,  a  64-47  loss against Mount Dora on the 30th.
