Dominion Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 50-38 win over the Excel Christian Academy Eagles. The Knights pushed the score to 46-18 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

Dominion Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sophia Jackson out in front who posted 14 points and four steals. Jackson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. Emory Maiyer was another key player, putting up 14 points and five steals.

Dominion Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Dominion Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Excel Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Dominion Christian will take on St. Mary's Academy in a holiday battle at at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Excel Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on Coahulla Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
