Riverside is 9-1 against Spartanburg since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Warriors are taking a road trip to face off against the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Riverside will be strutting in after a win while Spartanburg will be coming in after a loss.

On Monday, Riverside beat Liberty 7-4.

Meanwhile, Spartanburg fell victim to James F. Byrnes and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 18-0 to the Rebels. The Vikings' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Spartanburg saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Lister, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Spartanburg's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Riverside, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10-1.

Riverside took their win against Spartanburg in their previous meeting on April 1st by a conclusive 17-8 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
