Basketball Recap: Piqua Takes a Loss

Piqua was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. The contest between them and the Tippecanoe Red Devils didn't end well, with the Piqua Indians falling 56-40. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 512th, while the Red Devils are ranked 156th).

Piqua's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Tippecanoe, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Piqua will take on Greenville at 12:00 p.m. on February 8th. Tippecanoe has already played their next matchup (against Carroll), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
