Basketball Recap: Alcovy Tigers vs. Newton Rams
If Alcovy was feeling good fresh off their 72-30 takedown of Washington last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Alcovy Tigers took a 58-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Newton Rams on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Rams: they've now lost nine in a row.
Loss or not, Alcovy got some senior leadership from Nick Durham and Jaqari Smith. Durham posted 28 points, while Smith had 18 points.
