Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Knights vs. Lexington Minutemen
This season hasn't been kind to the Calvary Christian Academy Knights, who are still winless after their ninth match. They took a serious blow against Lexington on Friday, falling 83-20. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Calvary Christian Academy has scored all season.
It was another big night for Ethan Storm, who scored 18 points along with four steals for Lexington. The match was Storm's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Micah Coffman was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds.
Calvary Christian Academy bumped their record down to 0-9 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Lexington, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.
Calvary Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on LaMoille at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th. Lexington won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Clinton at 6:00 p.m. on December 16th. Clinton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lexington in Illinois (Clinton is ranked 29th, while Lexington is ranked 107th).
