Baseball Recap: Shamokin Area Takes a Loss

Shamokin Area lost against Central Mountain back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Indians lost 8-2 to the Wildcats. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shamokin Area saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cash Primerano, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Shamokin Area's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Central Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 15-1.

Coming up, Shamokin Area will venture away from home to challenge Shikellamy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Central Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
