With a playoff win on the line, Monacan rose to the challenge on Friday. They never let the Courtland Cougars get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. The result was nothing new for Monacan, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Monacan has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 45 goals over those 14 games. As for Courtland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-5-2.

Looking ahead, Monacan will face off against Chancellor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chancellor will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Monacan surely won't give up without a fight. Courtland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
