Clovis West is 10-0 against Clovis since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Clovis West Golden Eagles will get right back to it and host the Clovis Cougars at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Clovis West had to suffer through a 81-42 loss at the hands of Salesian College Preparatory. The matchup marked the Golden Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Clovis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a hard 67-48 fall against Clovis East. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 385th, while the Timberwolves are ranked 92nd).

Clovis' loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Clovis West, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 9-13.

Everything went Clovis West's way against Clovis in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as Clovis West made off with an 86-60 victory. Will Clovis West repeat their success, or does Clovis have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
