Volleyball Recap: Hermantown Takes a Loss

Hermantown saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brainerd Warriors. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Hermantown was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-17.

Sophia White was nothing short of spectacular for Brainerd: she had 20 digs.

Hermantown now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Brainerd, their win bumped their record up to 2-13.

Coming up, Hermantown will square off against Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brainerd, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Nevis on the 20th.
