The Trinity Christian Gryphons are taking a road trip to square off against the Flint Hill Huskies at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Trinity Christian took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Fredericksburg Christian as they made off with an 11-1 win.
Trinity Christian got a great performance from Lucas Fisher as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Brody Frank was a standout: he scored four runs and stole five bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Tiede, who scored three runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-3.
Trinity Christian hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Flint Hill waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Lions as they made off with a 16-1 victory.
Jackson Speer looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Flint Hill got a massive performance out of Aidan Ryan, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Ryan is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was PJ Lyons, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Flint Hill's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Trinity Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Trinity Christian has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Flint Hill struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
