Volleyball Preview: Krum Bobcats vs. Bridgeport Bulls
Krum is 10-0 against Bridgeport since October of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 4:30 p.m. Krum will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
Krum will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Springtown, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Krum had just enough and edged Springtown out 3-2 on Friday.
Krum was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 21-25, 19-25, 25-19, 15-11.
Meanwhile, Bridgeport came up short against Burkburnett last Tuesday, falling 3-0.
Bridgeport was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Burkburnett work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 26-24, 25-15.
Krum has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 24-13 record this season. As for Bridgeport, their loss dropped their record down to 1-31.
