Basketball Game Preview: Windham Eagles vs. Falmouth Navigators

The Windham Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Falmouth Navigators at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Windham is headed into the game having just posted their closest victory since February 2, 2024 on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Scarborough, sneaking past 73-70. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Red Storm are ranked 30th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Saturday Falmouth sidestepped Noble for a 54-51 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Navigators.

Windham pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Falmouth, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.

Windham strolled past Falmouth in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a score of 59-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for Windham since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
