Soccer Recap: Homestead Takes a Loss

Homestead and Braddock squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Homestead had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Braddock Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, the Broncos couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Camila Romero, who's now up to three this season.

Homestead's loss dropped their record down to 7-4-4. As for Braddock, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Homestead does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Braddock, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Southridge on the 29th.
