Soccer Recap: Suwannee Takes a Loss

Suwannee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gainesville Hurricanes. The Bulldogs were probably out for revenge after losing 3-1 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Their goal came courtesy of Ethan Valencia, who's now up to two this season.

Suwannee's record is now 2-14-1. As for Gainesville, their win bumped their record up to 3-4-3.

Suwannee will be playing at home against Santa Fe at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Santa Fe is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.3 goals per game this season. As for Gainesville, they will head out to challenge Columbia at 7:20 p.m. on Friday.
