Volleyball Recap: Central Valley Starts Season with Loss at Home

Central Valley unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Beaver Bobcats on Tuesday. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Central Valley took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-13, 25-17.

Beaver's win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-2.

After both having extra time off, Central Valley and Neshannock will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th. As for Beaver, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Ambridge on the 18th.
