There's no place like home for Mary Persons, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Sandy Creek Patriots out 2-1 on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Sydney Kime, who went 1-for-1 with a home run. That home run marked the first that she's launched this season. Another player making a difference was Sara Grace Errera, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
