Shawnee came into Thursday's matchup looking for another win against Joppa-Maple Grove, but Marcus Stallings wouldn't allow it. The Joppa-Maple Grove Rangers managed a 61-55 victory over the Shawnee Redskins on Thursday thanks in part to Stallings, who posted 32 points. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Despite the loss, Shawnee still got an impressive performance from Kyler Jewell, who dropped a double-double with 28 points and 13 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Jewell a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Noah Mayberry, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 12 boards.

Joppa-Maple Grove's record now sits at 2-21. As for Shawnee, they dropped their record down to 2-19 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home.

Joppa-Maple Grove has already played their next game, a 98-74 loss against Community Christian on the 10th. As for Shawnee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 80-63 defeat against Carrier Mills-Stonefort on the 7th.
