Volleyball Recap: LaBrae Vikings vs. Brooklyn Hurricanes
LaBrae saw some tournament action on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Brooklyn Hurricanes as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: LaBrae took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-13, 25-11.
Brielle Stout paced LaBrae's offense, picking up 11 kills. Stout got some help from Shelby Bragg and her 17 assists. Leah DeArmitt and Riley Rowe kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.
LaBrae's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Brooklyn, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.
