Basketball Recap: Shelbyville Comes Up Short

Shelbyville lost against Warrensburg-Latham last Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Shelbyville Rams fell to the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals 64-58. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 282nd, while the Cardinals are ranked 112th).

Shelbyville has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 15-10 record this season. As for Warrensburg-Latham, they pushed their record up to 24-4 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
