After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last nine matches, Loveland Classical finally came back down to earth on Monday. They came up short against the Mullen Mustangs, falling 4-1. Loveland Classical's loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Gigi Gonzalez, who's now up to seven this season.

Loveland Classical's defeat dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Mullen, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-6-1 record this season.

Loveland Classical does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mullen, they will welcome Battle Mountain at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
