Palm Springs is 0-10 against Palm Desert since April of 2021 but things could change  on Monday. Palm Springs will look to defend their home field  against Palm Desert  at 6:30  p.m. The two teams are strolling into their  matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Palm Springs barely beat Yucca Valley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Palm Springs never let Yucca Valley get on the board and left with  a   7-0  victory  on Saturday. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive  win against them.
 Palm Springs saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Rogelio Jacquez, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-1. Another  was  Chase Clemons, who  scored a  run and  stole three bases.
Meanwhile, Palm Desert came tearing into  Friday's  game with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by  a  16-5 margin over the Knights. The Aztecs' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
Palm Desert let  Stevie Hutchinson and  Addison Seuss run wild. Hutchinson  went 3-for-4 with four  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  run, while  Seuss  went 1-for-3 with five  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. That's the most  doubles  Hutchinson has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Zach Gibbs, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Palm Desert was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .417. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .375 or higher in three consecutive  contests.
 Palm Desert's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 8-3. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Palm Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.
