Volleyball Game Preview: Catholic Memorial Knights vs. Belmont Marauders

The Catholic Memorial Knights will venture away from home to square off against the Belmont Marauders at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Catholic Memorial has now lost eight straight dating back to last season, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 17th.

Catholic Memorial lost 3-0 to St. John's Prep on Monday.

Meanwhile, Belmont came up short against Woburn Memorial on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Marauders haven't had much luck with the Tanners recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Belmont was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 28-26, 25-18.

Catholic Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Belmont, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Catholic Memorial couldn't quite get it done against Belmont in their previous matchup back in March as they fell 3-1. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
