Basketball Recap: Highland Extends Winning Streak to Three

Highland extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Ty Crandall. The Highland Hawks were the clear victor by a 65-45 margin over the Higley Knights on Tuesday thanks in part to Crandall, who went 8 for 14 on his way to 26 points and five boards. Those 26 points gave him a new career-high.

When it comes to explaining why Higley lost, don't look at Donovan Dabney. Despite the final result, he went 9 of 15 en route to 23 points and six rebounds. Gavin Dabney was another key player, putting up nine points and six boards.

The victory got Highland back to even at 8-8. As for Higley, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4.

Highland has already played their next contest, a 65-38 win against Tucson High Magnet School on the 16th. As for Higley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 71-36 victory against Desert Ridge on the 17th.
