Softball Recap: Grayslake Central Takes a Loss

Grayslake Central managed to slip by Crystal Lake Central the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rams lost 10-2 to the Tigers on Thursday. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Emma Andrews was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Grayslake Central's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Crystal Lake Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

Grayslake Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Wauconda at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Crystal Lake Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
