Cherokee Bluff lost to Lanier back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Bears came out on top against the Longhorns by a score of 2-0.

Cherokee Bluff never let Lanier on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23.

Cherokee Bluff is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-12 record this season. As for Lanier, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-16.

Coincidentally, Cherokee Bluff and Lanier will both be playing Peachtree Ridge the next time they take the court. The Bears will head out to face the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Longhorns will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
