Basketball Recap: Catholic Central Comes Up Short

Catholic Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 89-69 to the Johnson Creek Bluejays. The Hilltoppers were not able to make up for their loss to the Bluejays from their previous meeting back in January.

Catholic Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Johnson Creek, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Catholic Central will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Anthony at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Johnson Creek, they will venture away from home to face off against Madison Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Johnson Creek is facing Madison Country Day at the right time seeing as Madison Country Day is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
