The Apple Springs Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Centerville, posting a 76-42 win on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Apple Springs has posted since December 8, 2023.
Leading Apple Springs to victory were Dakota Campbell and Caden Diaz. Campbell dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds, while Diaz scored 28 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Diaz has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Zeth Dugat, who scored six points along with eight assists and five rebounds.
Apple Springs has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Centerville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.
Apple Springs will head out on the road to take on Martinsville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Martinsville will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak alive. Centerville will take on Slocum at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
