Metuchen lost to Old Bridge back in February of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Metuchen Bulldogs snuck past the Old Bridge Knights with a 52-46 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Among those leading the charge was Cameron Hayes-Durina, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. Danny Galligan was another key player, putting up nine points and six boards.

Metuchen's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Old Bridge, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Metuchen has already played their next contest, a 59-45 win against Kennedy Memorial on the 13th. As for Old Bridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 74-56 loss against St. Thomas Aquinas on the 14th.
