Soccer Game Preview: Madison Academy vs. Tanner

Madison Academy hasn't had much luck against Tanner recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Mustangs will be playing at home against the Rattlers at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Madison Academy needed a bit of extra time to put away Tharptown. They never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The result kept Madison Academy happy, as they haven't lost a game since March 25th.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Micah Knowles, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, Tanner got the win against Mae Jemison on Monday by a conclusive 7-0. Tanner might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by three goals or more this season.

Tanner has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 49 goals over those 11 contests. As for Madison Academy, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3-1.
