Baseball Recap: Alhambra Find Success

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Alhambra ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary Cardinals 5-4. The Moors haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Yuuta Ngo was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Hightower, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Alhambra's victory bumped their record up to 21-5-1. As for Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-14 record.

As of now, neither Alhambra nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
