It's playoff time, and Eau Gallie had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the Lake Wales Highlanders 3-1. The Commodores are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 12 straight.

Jordan Stout made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Evie Martin, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple.

Eau Gallie's record now sits at 23-6. As for Lake Wales, their loss dropped their record down to 16-10.

As of now, neither Eau Gallie nor the Highlanders have any future games scheduled.
