Basketball Recap: Manor New Tech Comes Up Short

After flying high against Austin Achieve last Friday, Manor New Tech came back down to earth. Manor New Tech were dealt an 83-44 defeat at the hands of the LBJ Austin Jaguars on Tuesday. Manor New Tech was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-14.

LBJ Austin's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Antione Baker, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds. Baker is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Marquis Murry ii was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and ten boards.

Manor New Tech's loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for LBJ Austin, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 20-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Manor New Tech nor LBJ Austin have any future games scheduled.
