Ionia has gone a perfect 5-0 against Belding recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Ionia Bulldogs will take on the Belding Black Knights in a tournament on Wednesday. Belding took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Ionia, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Ionia took their match with ease, bagging a 56-27 victory over Lakewood. That looming 56-27 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulldogs yet this season.

Meanwhile, Belding had to suffer through a 75-43 loss at the hands of Fruitport. While losing is never fun, the Black Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 354th, while the Trojans are ranked 168th).

Belding has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season. Ionia's win bumped their record up to 12-10.
