Basketball Game Preview: Garfield G-Men vs. Chagrin Falls Tigers

The Garfield G-Men are taking a road trip to face off against the Chagrin Falls Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Garfield has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 212 points over their last three matches.

Garfield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Preston Gedeon, who went 8-for-17 en route to 23 points and six rebounds. Gedeon's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 23 points. Aidan Hill was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and ten boards.

Garfield smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Chagrin Falls' game on Saturday was all tied up 23-23 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Aquinas by a score of 51-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Chagrin Falls' win came from a few key players Garfield will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ryan Curtiss, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds. Those 15 boards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Spencer Kaas, who posted six points in addition to ten assists and five rebounds.

Chagrin Falls' victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-8.
