Football Recap: Hooper Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Hooper Academy's offense. They were beaten by the Abbeville Christian Academy Generals 44-0 on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Colts of the 48-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Hooper Academy and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Abbeville Christian Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Looking ahead, Hooper Academy will challenge Sparta Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Colts will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.14 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Abbeville Christian Academy, they will square off against Fort Dale Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
