Opp never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Ashford Yellowjackets 22-0. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 21 points or more this season.

The critical scores for Opp came from Matthew Morgan, Saban Sasser, and Savon Barnes.

Opp was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 201 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 197 rushing yards in seven consecutive matchups.

Opp didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Luke Sanders and Barnes. Opp received some extra help from Barnes, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Opp's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Ashford, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Opp will take on Straughn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ashford, they will challenge Daleville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Yellowjackets will be up against the Warhawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34.33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
