Volleyball Recap: Ellis Railroaders vs. Quinter Bulldogs
Ellis was the 2-0 winner over Quinter when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Railroaders fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Railroaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
Ellis started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-23, 25-21.
Leah Reed paced Ellis' offense, picking up 11 kills. Reed got some help from Taylor Kohl and her 23 assists. Reed was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
