Zack Megee and Zach O'Leary provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Escalon. The longest such play in Trans Valley this season, the connection resulted in 84 yards.
Ripon extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Orestimba, 48-24. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Indians.
Alex Banks was the best wideout in the league this week as the Warriors fell to Ripon. Banks tallied five receptions for 113 yards. Aaron Mota helped Orestimba's passing attack out by catching two balls for 47 yards.
Megee put up the best numbers through the air as Modesto Christian lost to the Cougars. He finished with a total of 11 completions for 230 yards and three touchdowns. Megee's favorite target this week was Damien Bell-White, who caught seven passes for 106 yards.
Nathan Chunn was the most productive running back in Trans Valley this week. He ran for 248 yards on 34 carries as Escalon fell to Chris Johnson's team. Jason Robbins also contributed to the rushing game with 83 yards on the ground.
The Indians' Kyle Wengel and Bradley Clark have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Wengel has thrown for 1611 yards this season, while Clark, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 34 catches for 641 yards. Steven Machado from Aaron Souza's team leads the league in rushing with 1841 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Mark Loureiro's team takes on Riverbank. The Cougars are in second place, while the Bruins are in seventh place.
Escalon led the league in scoring this week after putting up 54 points on the Crusaders. Chunn in the win.
