Basketball Recap: Cascade Takes a Loss

Cascade lost against Lake Stevens back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cascade Bruins were outmatched by the Lake Stevens Vikings and fell 74-42. The Bruins' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Cascade's record now sits at 3-14. As for Lake Stevens, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.

Cascade and Lake Stevens could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. Cascade will square off against Glacier Peak at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday down 255 places (261 vs. 6). Meanwhile, Lake Stevens (ranked 139th) will meet Arlington (ranked 26th) at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
