Softball Game Preview: Bartlett Bulldogs vs. Granger Lions

The Bartlett Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Granger Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bartlett's hitters haven't had much luck over their past four contests, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Bartlett came up short against Rosebud-Lott on Tuesday, falling 16-1. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Granger, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against Rosebud-Lott by a score of 16-11 on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Bartlett's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Granger, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.

Everything went Bartlett's way against Granger in their previous meeting back in March, as Bartlett made off with a 23-10 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
