Football Recap: Walla Walla Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Walla Walla's offense. They were dealt a 28-0 defeat at the hands of the Kennewick Lions on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost seven in a row.

Walla Walla's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Kennewick, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Walla Walla is set to square off against their familiar foe Richland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Kennewick will face off against rival Chiawana at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Lions 7.7, the Riverhawks 4.8) so any points scored will be well earned.
