Football Recap: Braden River Gets the Win

Braden River's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 10-9 win over the George Jenkins Eagles. The victory was some much needed relief for the Pirates as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Boston Welcheck threw for 58 yards and one touchdown while completing 80% of his passes. Trevion Dixon was his top target, picking up 45 receiving yards. On the ground, David Louis rushed for 91 yards.

Braden River's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for George Jenkins, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Braden River nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
