Basketball Game Preview: Platte County Pirates vs. Pembroke Hill Raiders

The Platte County Pirates will head out to face off against the Pembroke Hill Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Platte County will head out to face Pembroke Hill after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. Platte County took a 57-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ruskin. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, everything went Pembroke Hill's way against Casady on Saturday as Pembroke Hill made off with a 55-33 victory. The match marked the Raiders' most dominant win of the season so far.

Platte County's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4. As for Pembroke Hill, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Things could have been worse for Platte County, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 70-56 loss to Pembroke Hill in their previous meeting back in January of 2016. Can Platte County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
